Chief Financial Officer

About the role

The Chief Financial Officer will lead the strategic management of the bank's financial resources, liquidity, capital, and investment activities. This senior position ensures financial stability, accurate reporting, and effective communication with international investors.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and execute capital‑raising strategies and manage relations with investors and shareholders.
• Oversee financial policy, budgeting, forecasting, asset‑liability management and expense control.
• Coordinate financial reporting, tax processes, internal controls and ensure compliance with Central Bank of Armenia regulations.
• Lead long‑term financial planning aligned with the bank’s strategy and manage negotiations with international financial organisations.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Applied Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
• 8‑10 years of experience in banking, investment, insurance, auditing or consulting, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience in financial process automation or optimisation.

Required skills

• CFA charterholder or FCCA/ACCA member (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, Basel standards and tax legislation.
• Excellent English (C1 level) and ability to present complex financial scenarios.
