Clinical Data Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Data Manager to own end‑to‑end data management activities across clinical studies. You will work closely with project teams, sponsors and other stakeholders to ensure high‑quality, accurate and timely clinical data throughout the study lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead database design, setup, CRF and non‑CRF collection tools, data cleaning and documentation.
• Develop and maintain Data Management Plans, Data Validation Plans, completion guidelines and study reports.
• Coordinate study team reviews of CRFs, identifying potential data collection and database structure issues.
• Ensure captured data complies with the clinical protocol and data management plan.
• Develop data validation plans and coordinate user acceptance testing of CRFs and edit checks.
• Manage data cleaning activities, generate, track and resolve queries and discrepancies.
• Reconcile third‑party data with the Clinical Data Management System.
• Track CRFs through the Data Management function and keep the Trial Master File up to date.
• Provide regular updates to the Project Manager and liaise with sponsors on data‑related issues.
• Mentor and train junior Data Managers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical, clinical or health‑related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience leading database management activities in clinical research.
• Hands‑on experience with commercial CDMS/EDC platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and adapt to fast‑paced environments.
