Cybersecurity Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our Information Security team. The role involves hands‑on work in security monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management to protect critical systems and data.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and investigate security alerts generated by SIEM and other security tools.
• Support detection, analysis, response, and recovery for cybersecurity incidents.
• Participate in vulnerability assessment, remediation, and security reviews of systems, applications, and infrastructure.
• Administer and maintain endpoint protection (EDR/XDR), firewalls, WAF, VPN, IDS/IPS, and other security technologies.
• Conduct log analysis, security investigations, and root‑cause analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity or IT security roles.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with IT and business teams.

Required skills

• Experience with SIEM platforms and security monitoring.
• Knowledge of endpoint security solutions (EDR/XDR).
• Familiarity with vulnerability assessment and management processes.
• Understanding of network security concepts: firewalls, WAF, VPN, IDS/IPS.
• Windows and Linux security administration.
• Active Directory and identity management.
• Cloud security basics for Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Basic scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Awareness of ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework and banking security requirements.
