About the role
The Fire Protection Discipline Lead will head the fire protection team, driving technical excellence, project delivery, and people development. Reporting to senior leadership, the role ensures the firm’s vision and Project Delivery Excellence are embedded across all fire protection projects.
Key responsibilities
- Execute firm vision and strategy within the fire protection discipline.
- Set technical standards, monitor delivery challenges, and report staffing needs to senior leadership.
- Foster a collaborative culture, coordinating with architects, engineers, and project managers to resolve scope conflicts.
- Provide mentorship and growth paths for team leads, designers, and engineers.
- Promote an Employee Owner mindset, modeling accountability and stewardship of project resources.
Required profile
- Licensed Fire Protection Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
- Proven track record delivering fire sprinkler, fire alarm, life‑safety, and code‑compliance solutions for commercial, industrial, retail, mixed‑use or multi‑site projects.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with experience guiding multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication skills to interface with clients and internal stakeholders.
