Front Desk Manager

About the role

The Front Desk Manager at Venice Hotel Yerevan leads daily front‑desk operations, ensuring smooth check‑in/out, guest satisfaction, and coordination with other departments. This full‑time, on‑site position reports to hotel management and supervises a team of reception staff.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise front desk team, schedule shifts, and provide training.
• Oversee check‑in and check‑out processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage reservations, modifications, and cancellations using hotel reservation software.
• Handle guest inquiries, resolve complaints, and maintain high service standards.
• Coordinate room assignments and communicate with housekeeping and other departments.
• Monitor lobby and reception area standards, ensuring cleanliness and presentation.
• Maintain front office records, billing, and financial documentation.
• Implement and improve procedures to enhance guest experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hotel front desk or hospitality management, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong customer service orientation with ability to resolve issues professionally.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local language(s); additional languages a plus.
• Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Relevant education in hospitality, tourism, business administration, or related field preferred.
