Google Cloud Delivery Architect

About the role

We are seeking a senior Cloud Delivery Architect to lead end‑to‑end GCP migration and infrastructure projects for our Google Cloud Delivery team, a Google Cloud Partner of the Year 2024‑2026. The role owns the execution of fixed‑budget engagements, from low‑level design through implementation, validation and handover, while interacting directly with customers on a weekly basis.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement production‑grade migrations from AWS/Azure to GCP (EKS→GKE, RDS→Cloud SQL, S3→Cloud Storage) in phased cutovers.
• Build Cloud Foundations landing zones using Terraform, defining resource hierarchy, IAM, organization policies, network topology and security controls.
• Architect and deploy GKE private clusters, configure Workload Identity, Helm add‑ons, ingress and Cloud Armor.
• Convert hand‑built environments into reusable Terraform modules, set up CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Argo CD, and enable keyless authentication.
• Own engagement delivery: run weekly customer meetings, monitor scope, budget, change management and produce comprehensive runbooks and knowledge‑transfer documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on cloud infrastructure experience, with deep production expertise on Google Cloud.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale cloud migrations and landing‑zone implementations.
• Strong customer‑facing communication skills in English, comfortable leading workshops and executive briefings.
• Ability to work autonomously across multiple concurrent projects and flag risks early.

Required skills

• Google Cloud Platform (Compute, Storage, Networking, IAM, Secret Manager, Cloud Armor).
• Terraform – modular code, remote state, environment import.
• Kubernetes / GKE – private clusters, node pools, autoscaling, RBAC, Workload Identity, Helm, ingress.
• CI/CD – GitHub Actions (keyless auth), Argo CD or similar GitOps.
• Networking & security – VPC design, Cloud NAT, DNS, VPN, Private Service Connect, firewall policies, organization policies.
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure environments for migration context.
• Proficient use of AI‑assisted tools with critical judgement.
