About the role

The bank is seeking a senior professional to lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of liquidity and market risk management frameworks. This role will support the bank’s overall financial risk strategy and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and oversee liquidity and market risk management approaches, including asset‑liability management.
• Draft and periodically review internal legal acts related to financial risk management.
• Conduct analysis, monitoring and reporting of liquidity, market, asset and liability risks for senior management and the Central Bank.
• Organise stress‑testing and scenario‑analysis exercises and prepare related reports.
• Apply risk‑modelling tools, methodologies and contribute to strategic risk assessments for projects and strategic plans.
• Monitor financial markets, propose risk‑mitigation mechanisms and support implementation of investment‑risk mitigation tools.

Required profile

• University degree in economics, finance or a technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in banking or financial institutions, with at least 3 years focused on risk or asset‑liability management.
• Preferably holding FRM or CFA certification.
• Strong knowledge of banking operations, risk‑management methods, and regulatory requirements of the Armenian Central Bank, Basel Committee and international best practices.
