Junior Lawyer

About the role

ASK-Consult is an Armenian full-service consulting firm combining lawyers, financiers and accountants to deliver practical solutions to domestic and international clients. It is hiring a Junior Lawyer to work on-site, full time, supporting the legal team across a variety of client matters.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and assist in preparing legal opinions and reports.
• Draft and review contracts and other legal documents.
• Support senior lawyers in case and transaction management and help with due diligence.
• Communicate with clients under supervision.
• Work with colleagues from finance and accounting to provide integrated consulting services and ensure compliance with local and international legal standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB or equivalent); enrollment in or completion of a Master's degree is an advantage.
• Prior internship or junior-level experience in a law firm, consulting company or corporate legal department is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication in Armenian and good English; knowledge of Russian is an asset.
• Ability to manage several tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• Collaborative, ethical and committed to confidentiality and compliance.

Required skills

• Solid foundation in civil, commercial and corporate law.
• Legal research and analysis.
• Drafting, reviewing and proofreading contracts, legal opinions and other formal documents.
