Lead Data Analytics & Visualization Engineer (Qlik Sense)

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Data Analytics and Visualization Engineer with deep expertise in Qlik Sense to ensure stable, secure, and high‑performing analytics delivery as the domain transitions to EPAM. The role is fully remote within Armenia and focuses on modernising key BI assets and data usage patterns across finance and supply‑chain domains.

Key responsibilities

• Own Qlik Sense applications for a designated domain (e.g., Finance or Supply Chain).
• Understand and optimise app architecture, load scripts, QVD usage and business logic.
• Support shadow, reverse‑shadow, parallel run and hyper‑care processes.
• Diagnose and resolve BI issues such as reload failures, data discrepancies, performance slowdowns, visual errors and access problems.
• Validate parallel runs by comparing incumbent/vendor results with EPAM‑run results.
• Analyse inconsistencies, document findings and obtain approvals.
• Create operational runbooks, known‑issue trackers and monitoring inputs.
• Manage incident and problem tickets.
• Participate in assess‑and‑rationalise (4R) initiatives across the BI landscape.
• Rebuild or enhance key Finance/Supply Chain analytics assets and data models.
• Collaborate with the Snowflake data platform team and governance stakeholders to standardise consumption patterns, definitions and controls.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience building BI solutions with Qlik Sense (on‑prem or SaaS).
• Strong ability to read, troubleshoot and improve Qlik load scripts, data models and front‑end performance.
• Proven track record supporting BI in production/BAU environments, handling incidents and meeting SLAs.
• Experience with modern data warehouses (Snowflake preferred) and SQL‑based data validation.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with product leads, SMEs, QA and platform operations.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
