Lead Full-Stack Engineer (AI-Driven Systems)

About the role

EPAM Armenia is seeking a Lead Full-Stack Engineer to own the architecture and delivery of AI‑enabled, production‑grade applications. The role combines hands‑on development with technical leadership, ensuring that advanced AI capabilities are seamlessly integrated into scalable products.

Key responsibilities

• Design and own end‑to‑end architecture of full‑stack applications using React, Next.js, Node.js and TypeScript.
• Lead the implementation of AI‑powered features, including large language model (LLM) integrations and agent‑based workflows.
• Define and enforce engineering standards, code quality, and best practices across the team.
• Build robust CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes on AWS.
• Make system design decisions for authentication, data modeling, caching, and event‑driven architecture.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and collaborate with product and business stakeholders.

Required profile

• 7+ years of full‑stack development experience.
• Strong background in designing distributed, scalable systems on AWS.
• Proven experience delivering AI‑driven solutions with LLMs and automation workflows.
• Hands‑on expertise with Docker, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure.
