Lead Unreal Engine UI Developer (Remote, Armenia)

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Unreal Engine UI Developer to own and evolve the user‑interface layer of a major cross‑platform product. The role focuses on building polished, responsive, mobile‑first UI inside Unreal Engine while bridging design concepts with backend data.

Key responsibilities

• Design and extend native UI systems using Unreal Motion Graphics (UMG) with a clean, scalable architecture.
• Separate UI presentation from data and backend services using modern patterns such as MVC or MVVM.
• Structure and optimise data pipelines to deliver efficient data to the frontend.
• Translate UX and design intent into high‑performance in‑engine interfaces.
• Optimise UI performance across PC, mobile (iOS/Android) and console platforms.
• Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience, focused on game UI.
• At least 1 year of people‑management or team‑lead experience.
• Strong communication skills in English (B2 or higher).

Required skills

• Deep hands‑on expertise with Unreal Engine, including packaging and platform targeting.
• Proficiency in C++ within the Unreal context.
• Experience building reusable UI components with UMG.
• Knowledge of UI architectural patterns such as MVC or MVVM.
• Cross‑platform development experience (PC, mobile, console).
• Familiarity with JIRA for task and bug tracking.
