Legal Counsel – Commercial Legal Department

About the role

Digitain is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its Commercial Legal Department. You will support the company’s iGaming operations, ensuring compliance with local and international gaming regulations while providing strategic legal advice on B2B transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and finalize agreements related to gaming‑related B2B sales and procurement.
• Provide timely counsel on a variety of gaming‑related legal topics.
• Present legal issues to internal teams with analysis, options and recommendations.
• Research and evaluate risk factors influencing business decisions and operations.
• Monitor and interpret Armenian and international gaming laws, regulations and industry standards.
• Maintain documentation flow and reporting in line with Legal Directorate procedures.
• Perform ad‑hoc legal duties as required to meet business needs.

Required profile

• LL.B. and LL.M. degrees in Law.
• 4‑5 years of experience in a law firm or as an in‑house legal adviser.
• Strong background in International Business Law, Private International Law, IP Law and Licensing Law.
• In‑depth knowledge of Armenian civil, labor, administrative and gaming legislation.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Russian.
• Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and able to work under pressure.
