M&A Analyst – Mobile App & SaaS Acquisitions

About the role

BlueThrone is looking for an M&A Analyst to lead the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of mobile app and complementary SaaS acquisitions. You will work at the core of the investment engine, turning data and founder insights into clear investment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and source acquisition targets, conduct founder meetings and request data.
• Build comprehensive financial models from scratch, including subscription cohort, ad‑monetized revenue, ROAS projections, and SaaS metrics.
• Analyze key performance indicators such as LTV, CAC, retention, churn and ARPU to assess value and risks.
• Prepare investment committee materials, support the Chief Investment Officer, and present findings.
• Manage end‑to‑end deal processes, coordinate diligence work streams and track deliverables.
• Collaborate with product, growth and monetization teams to shape evaluation frameworks.

Required profile

• Strong experience building financial models for mobile and SaaS businesses.
• Ability to independently evaluate acquisition targets and form a clear investment thesis.
• Comfort interacting directly with founders and cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
