Mid-level QA Engineer – Banking Systems

About the role

Ardshinbank CJSC seeks a mid‑level QA Engineer to ensure the reliability and security of its banking applications. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, applying modern testing practices to protect customer assets and deliver high‑quality software.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal QA and engineering teams to define testing strategies.
• Partner with leadership to align testing processes with company goals.
• Set up, configure, and use role‑specific testing tools and environments.
• Provide end‑to‑end product quality by applying comprehensive test coverage across all layers.
• Select appropriate testing tools and techniques to verify software quality.
• Create, maintain, and track issues in JIRA.
• Design, maintain, and execute test documentation (test cases, checklists, scenarios, test plans).
• Produce well‑structured test result reports.
• Troubleshoot complex issues using logs and network analysis.
• Write simple test automation scripts and run prepared tests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer.
• Advanced knowledge of software testing fundamentals and strong experience analyzing requirements.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, DOM construction, and web application usability.
• Proficiency with client‑server architecture and developer tools.
• Intermediate experience in API testing (Postman/Swagger).
• Experience with version control systems, virtualization tools, and cloud‑based enterprise web applications.
• Ability to write simple SQL queries and contribute to test documentation.
• Basic knowledge of test‑automation tools; advanced FinTech experience, TypeScript/JavaScript scripting, Playwright, API automation, and CI/CD knowledge are a plus.
