Product Manager – On‑Ramp & Swap (Remote)

About the role

Tether is looking for a Product Manager to own the strategy and execution of buying and swapping USDT and XAUT in the Tether Wallet. You will work across markets to map payment landscapes, select partners, and deliver a seamless in‑app experience for users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the roadmap for fiat on‑ramps, card payments, local methods and token‑to‑token swaps.
• Collaborate with expansion teams to understand dominant payment methods, regulations and on‑ramp providers in each target market.
• Evaluate, select and onboard the best on‑ramp or swap partner for each market, coordinating legal, compliance and commercial terms.
• Translate partner APIs into product requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria; work with engineering and design to deliver the buy/swap flow.
• Design routing logic that offers users the optimal partner based on country, currency, amount and availability.
• Define and monitor KPIs across the funnel (conversion, approval rates, KYC drop‑off, cost, volume) and use data to optimise performance and partner management.

Required profile

• 5+ years product management experience in banking, payments or FinTech.
• 3+ years product management experience in DeFi or crypto.
• Proven track record evaluating, selecting and onboarding external partners.
• Strong communication skills for remote collaboration across time zones.

Required skills

• Crypto wallets and DeFi token‑swap mechanisms, including DEX aggregators.
• Global payment systems and card schemes (Visa, Mastercard, 3‑D Secure, chargebacks).
• Fiat on‑ramp/off‑ramp integration and third‑party payment gateway APIs.
• KYC/AML processes and their impact on conversion.
• Ability to read API documentation and work closely with engineering teams.
• Data‑driven analysis of funnel metrics to improve conversion.
