Quality Assurance QA Engineer (Jr/Jr+) - Contract, Hybrid

About the role

This is a contract, hybrid role for a Junior to Junior+ Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer based in Yerevan, Armenia, with some work-from-home flexibility. The QA Engineer executes manual tests, reviews and runs test cases, and verifies that software features work according to requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers and product teams
• Document defects, retest fixes and contribute to improving testing processes
• Maintain clear test documentation and take part in team meetings
• Support the delivery of high-quality software releases on schedule

Required profile

• Strong foundation in Quality Assurance and Software Testing, with an understanding of QA principles and lifecycle
• Hands-on experience with manual testing and test execution for web or mobile applications
• Ability to design, document and maintain test cases aligned with functional and non-functional requirements
• Attention to detail, analytical mindset and ability to identify, document and track defects
• Willingness to work in a hybrid setup in Yerevan, communicate with cross-functional teams and manage time independently
• Relevant education in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Required skills

• Basic familiarity with issue-tracking tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps
• Plus: experience with or willingness to learn test documentation best practices and basic test automation concepts
