SAP Logistics (SCM) Engineering Manager

About the role

EPAM is seeking an experienced SAP Logistics (SCM) Engineering Manager to lead its global SAP Logistics operations. You will combine deep technical knowledge with strong leadership to drive strategic initiatives, deliver projects on schedule, and nurture client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a worldwide team of SAP professionals, overseeing all SAP Logistics activities.
• Recruit, develop, and retain top‑performing SAP Logistics talent across multiple locations.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including hiring, performance reviews, career development, and compensation.
• Drive strategic initiatives that enhance SAP Logistics capabilities and support organizational growth.
• Collaborate with IT and business units to design proposals and create project statements of work.
• Maintain direct communication with customers to ensure high‑quality delivery, team performance, and adherence to project timelines.
• Stay current with SAP Logistics best practices and ensure their implementation across operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in SAP engineering roles.
• At least 2 years in a leadership or management position (e.g., Lead, Manager, Architect, Coordinator).
• Experience managing teams of five or more employees.
• Participation in at least two full‑cycle SAP implementations or product launches.
• Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.
