Senior Application Security Engineer

About the role

Artest is looking for a Senior Application Security Engineer to embed security into every layer of its cloud‑native products. You will work closely with product managers, architects and developers to ensure that security is designed, built and operated by default.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement security architecture from cloud infrastructure to application code, applying "secure by design" principles.
• Integrate security scanning and tooling into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure‑as‑code workflows.
• Develop, automate and validate declarative threat models and security policies.
• Participate in product planning cycles, architecture reviews and migration projects from data‑center to public cloud (AWS).
• Act as a trusted cyber‑security advisor for product and application teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Application Security Engineer.
• Proven ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Hands‑on experience with microservices, JavaScript/TypeScript applications and secure software delivery.
• Familiarity with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and industry frameworks such as PCI, ISO 27001 or NIST.
