Senior AWS DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to design, build and maintain AWS infrastructure and GitLab (DXOne) environments that enable migration projects, including re‑platforming, refactoring and re‑architecting. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in Armenia.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and configure AWS infrastructure to support migration initiatives.
• Create and configure virtual machines following best practices.
• Develop and integrate CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitLab, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline and CodeDeploy.
• Build and maintain DevOps processes across the AWS environment.
• Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Apply core AWS security best practices, including security groups and IAM roles.
• Automate infrastructure and deployment tasks through PowerShell and Python scripting.
• Support re‑platform, refactor and re‑architect migration scenarios.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in AWS DevOps, infrastructure setup and CI/CD development.
• Proficiency with Git, GitLab and Jenkins for source control and pipeline automation.
• Expertise in Terraform and CloudFormation for IaC.
• Strong knowledge of AWS security best practices (security groups, IAM roles).
• Hands‑on scripting experience with PowerShell and Python.
• Understanding of VM creation and configuration according to best practices.
• Background with AWS DevOps services and CodePipeline/CodeDeploy tools.
• English proficiency at B2+ level.
