Senior BI Analyst

About the role

Equiti is seeking a Senior BI Analyst to join its Data department in Yerevan. You will design, develop and maintain Power BI solutions that support the company’s fintech products and reporting needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop Power BI reports, dashboards and supporting datasets on certified gold semantic models.
• Migrate legacy reports to the gold model, automate recurring manual reporting and retire duplicated reports.
• Enhance, maintain and adapt data models to evolving business requirements while adhering to modelling and DAX standards.
• Build self‑service reporting capabilities and provide technical consultation to global business partners.
• Validate outputs against certified definitions, troubleshoot issues and ensure data quality.
• Apply AI‑assisted development tools such as LLM‑generated DAX, M, SQL and Power BI Copilot.
• Optimize performance of models and reports through query folding, incremental refresh and aggregations.
• Document solutions, contribute reusable patterns and support onboarding of new entities onto the shared BI platform.

Required profile

• Strong command of the Microsoft Power BI stack with advanced DAX and Power Query/M expertise.
• Proven data‑visualisation skills following best practices for executive and operational audiences.
• Rigorous validation habits and a focus on data reconciliation.
• Clear communication with non‑technical stakeholders across time zones.
• Comfortable using AI coding assistants productively and critically.
• Self‑starter able to deliver high‑quality work at volume.
