Senior Data & AI Solution Architect

About the role

We are seeking a highly hands‑on Senior Data & AI Solution Architect to lead solution design across enterprise data, analytics, and AI initiatives in a Microsoft‑first environment. The role translates business requirements into secure, scalable, supportable architectures and guides delivery teams through design, prototyping, implementation, reviews, and production readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end solution architecture for data, analytics, and AI use cases, ensuring design quality, security, scalability, supportability and cost efficiency.
• Translate business needs into practical technical designs, target architectures, integration patterns and delivery‑ready implementation guidance.
• Lead by example through hands‑on prototyping, architecture reviews, troubleshooting, code/design reviews and technical support for delivery teams.
• Embed security, governance, compliance and operational readiness into solutions from design through production deployment.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in senior solution architecture roles for enterprise data, analytics and AI platforms.
• 5+ years strong hands‑on experience with Azure‑based data platforms (Azure Data Factory, Databricks, data lake architectures, SQL, dimensional data modeling).
• Proven experience with enterprise security, governance and compliance, working with enterprise architects and regulatory functions.

Required skills

• Power BI architecture (semantic models, DAX, Power Query, workspace strategy, governance, performance optimization).
• Azure services: Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Search, Semantic Kernel, Prompt Flow.
• Microsoft Fabric, Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, CI/CD for data or AI solutions.
• Microsoft security and governance services: Microsoft Entra, Purview, Key Vault.
• Enterprise BI/analytics design, dimensional data modeling, SQL.
