Senior GenAI Workshop Leader

About the role

The Centers Operations division of TUMO delivers the day-to-day learning experience across its Armenia centers, combining self-learning, workshops and project labs. The Senior GenAI Workshop Leader designs and delivers GenAI workshops and learning labs for students, trains and mentors other workshop leaders, tracks and reports on student progress, helps shape the curriculum and owns the quality and continuous improvement of GenAI learning across centers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead permanent GenAI workshops and learning labs, evaluating and reporting on student progress and project outcomes
• Train local and international workshop leaders through seminars, workshops and individual sessions, with ongoing feedback and mentorship
• Monitor workshop quality and leader performance, proposing improvements and additional training
• Test new curriculum designs and work with the content team to update the curriculum and create new activities, modules, lectures and videos
• Lead workshops, labs or training sessions at other TUMO centers during 2-4 trips a year
• Help recruit workshop leaders, from reviewing resumes and portfolios to interviewing candidates and making recommendations

Required profile

• Advanced hands-on expertise in generative AI, including ChatGPT (Codex), Claude (Claude Code) and Gemini, with strong prompting skills
• Practical understanding of LLMs, agents, AI instructions and rules, tokenization and context
• Experience building applications with AI tools, agents and APIs and gathering user feedback
• Engineering background, such as hardware or software engineering
• Armenian and English required; Russian preferred
• Willingness to travel 2-4 times a year
• Preferred: mentoring or leading other educators, experience teaching or working with teenagers, and knowledge of embeddings, fine-tuning and RAG
