Senior Go Engineer

About the role

EPAM is seeking a Senior Go Engineer to drive the development of high‑performance backend services for an AI‑driven integration platform. You will work remotely from anywhere in Armenia, collaborating with product and development teams to design scalable, cloud‑native solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement high‑throughput backend services using Go.
• Contribute to system architecture and evolution of platform components, including AI/ML and MLOps features.
• Participate in pair programming and real‑time collaboration.
• Ensure production readiness through monitoring, alerting, and scalability planning.
• Support the full development lifecycle: design, implementation, testing (Kubernetes), and production configuration.
• Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong ownership mindset and product‑oriented approach.
• Upper‑Intermediate (B2+) English proficiency.
• Ability to work effectively in a distributed, remote team.

Required skills

• Go (including concurrency and performance optimization).
• Kubernetes and cloud‑native environments.
• Monitoring, alerting, and production support.
• Modern SDLC and DevOps practices.
