Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

Team Telecom Armenia is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to independently evaluate the company’s internal control systems, risk management framework, and business processes. The role focuses on identifying risks, control gaps, and opportunities for improvement to safeguard financial and operational integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of the internal audit strategy and framework.
• Define key audit activities, identify associated risks, and assess their impact on business operations.
• Develop and present recommendations to enhance business processes, audit systems, and the reliability of financial, administrative, and operational activities.
• Conduct periodic reviews and analyses of financial statements to ensure compliance with accounting and reporting requirements.
• Assess the effectiveness of internal control systems and verify adherence to applicable procedures, policies, and regulations.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in internal audit or related fields.
• Audit certifications (e.g., ACCA, CIA, CISA) or participation in relevant trainings are a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset, negotiation skills, and ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.
• Fluency in Armenian, English and Russian.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
