Senior Lawyer

About the role

MAP is seeking an experienced Senior Lawyer to provide comprehensive legal support, manage legal risks, and ensure legal compliance for business decisions. The role involves direct involvement in high‑value commercial and corporate transactions and representation of the company before authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and provide legal opinions on company contracts.
• Accompany complex commercial and corporate deals from a legal perspective.
• Identify, assess and mitigate legal risks related to company operations.
• Provide legal assistance in corporate, civil, labor and administrative law matters.
• Represent the company before state, regulatory and other authorities.
• Oversee licensing, permits and regulatory compliance processes.
• Manage litigation and non‑litigation disputes, protecting the company’s interests.
• Ensure protection of intellectual property, trademarks and other legal assets.
• Supply management with legal conclusions and practical recommendations.
• Coordinate external legal counsel when required.

Required profile

• University degree in law.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of Armenian civil, corporate, labor and administrative legislation.
• Proven experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Deep understanding of business processes and legal risk management.
• Ability to independently analyze complex legal issues and propose solutions.
• High sense of responsibility, accuracy and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
