Senior Product Designer, Customer Lifecycle

About the role

Tabby, a FinTech behind a payment-splitting service used by over 25 million users, is hiring a Senior Product Designer to own the B2C customer journey inside the Tabby app. The B2C Life Cycle team covers activation (onboarding, explaining the value of each product, activating financial products and getting a customer to their first transaction) and then keeps customers coming back. The designer will also work on the subscription and help develop the Tabby+ model.

Key responsibilities

• Look across consumer products and design the experience as one customer journey so the app feels consistent and whole
• Design onboarding that explains the value of products in plain language and orients new customers
• Design activation of financial products (Tabby Card, Tabby Cash, BNPL) through to the first transaction
• Design the moments and communication that bring people back after the first transaction
• Shape the subscription experience and help grow it as part of the same journey
• Hold the seams between independently shipped product teams so the customer does not feel the organisation's structure
• Work with the Product Manager, UX Researchers and UX Writer, and partner with engineering throughout delivery

Required profile

• 5+ years of product design experience, with meaningful time on consumer products at scale
• Portfolio showing end-to-end ownership, from problem framing to polished, production-ready UI
• Experience in cross-functional teams with product managers, researchers, writers and engineers
• Nice to have: fintech, consumer finance, subscriptions or lifecycle work; experience across several products; growth mechanics such as first transaction, habit and return; design system work
