Senior Security & Networking Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Security and Networking Engineer to strengthen the security and reliability of our high‑traffic platforms. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in Armenia while collaborating with cross‑functional teams across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate security incidents and optimise security configurations across the platform.
• Collaborate with Security, DevOps, Infrastructure and Application teams to enhance protection.
• Configure and manage DDoS protection, bot mitigation and web‑application firewall solutions.
• Analyse HTTP/HTTPS traffic to detect and mitigate threats.
• Maintain and enhance edge security solutions on the Akamai platform.
• Troubleshoot networking issues related to TCP/IP, DNS, CDN and TLS/SSL.
• Build expertise in Akamai security products to support platform operations.
• Ensure high availability through load balancing and proxy configurations.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in network security and web‑application security.
• Proficiency in HTTP/HTTPS traffic analysis.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, CDN, TLS/SSL, load balancing and proxies.
• Understanding of WAF concepts and experience with DDoS protection, bot mitigation and edge security solutions.
• Ability to quickly gain expertise in the Akamai platform (mandatory).
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
