Senior System Administrator

About the role

Energize Global Services (EGS) is looking for a highly skilled Senior System Administrator to join our Yerevan office. You will be responsible for maintaining our on‑premises multi‑tenant Exchange Server 2013 environment and leading the migration to Microsoft Cloud, while also managing our VMware ESXi infrastructure, firewalls, and Linux servers.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot the Exchange Server 2013 environment and plan migration to Microsoft Cloud.
• Administer and optimise VMware ESXi infrastructure for high availability and performance.
• Manage Active Directory, enforce security policies, and handle user accounts.
• Configure, monitor and maintain Next‑Generation Firewalls.
• Administer, update and secure Linux server environments.
• Manage Trellix anti‑malware solution for endpoint protection.
• Operate Windows SCCM for patch management and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure a seamless cloud transition.

Required profile

• 5+ years of systems administration experience.
• Hands‑on experience with Exchange Server 2013, VMware ESXi, and Linux servers.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft cloud services and Active Directory.
• Experience configuring and managing Next‑Generation Firewalls.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., VMware VCP, Microsoft Certified, CompTIA Linux+) are a plus but not mandatory.
