Technical Support Consultant (Remote, Fluent English)

About the role

SupportYourApp is looking for a Technical Support Consultant to join its global Intelligent Support‑as‑a‑Service team. You will work remotely, providing high‑touch, multi‑channel technical assistance to enterprise clients while helping them onboard, discover, and secure their data.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client onboarding, data scanning, and environment discovery troubleshooting.
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues, audit logs, and isolate software bugs.
• Translate telemetry into actionable guidance for client IT admins and internal engineering.
• Assist IT teams in configuring secure network paths and access permissions.
• Document and escalate unresolved core product issues to engineering.
• Track recurring technical issues and recommend product improvements.

Required profile

• Excellent English communication (C1 level) – spoken and written.
• Minimum 2 years experience in Technical Support, Application Support or Technical Account Management for B2B software.
• Strong understanding of data storage, security, and access across cloud and on‑premises platforms.
• Customer‑oriented attitude with strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Experience with M365, Google Workspace, AWS, Azure.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture (SaaS/IaaS) and network topologies.
• Hands‑on LDAP and Active Directory (PowerShell, ADUC).
• Understanding of SMB/CIFS, Windows File Servers, SID‑to‑ACL mapping.
• Familiarity with SSH keys, SSL/TLS, DNS routing, SSH tunneling.
• Basic Linux (Ubuntu) and Kubernetes (kubectl) usage.
• Ability to write and interpret basic SQL queries.
