About the role

The IT Business Analyst will join the Information Technology Department of Idbank in Yerevan, acting as a bridge between business units and technical teams. The role focuses on analysing business requirements, ensuring they align with existing systems, and delivering functional solutions that support the bank’s operations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business unit requirements for IT systems and assess feasibility against current solutions.
• Prepare detailed technical specifications and coordinate communication with development teams.
• Oversee testing, acceptance, and hand‑over of software solutions.
• Draft guidelines and documentation as needed.
• Support system administrators with issue analysis and ad‑hoc solutions.
• Conduct business and operational analysis to identify gaps and propose improvements.
• Participate in planning and organising departmental work.
• Suggest enhancements to departmental processes.
• Evaluate automation opportunities for IT systems and business processes.

Required profile

• Higher education degree.
• Supervisory skills.
• Minimum 2 years experience in the finance/banking sector.
• Basic knowledge of document generation.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including technical documentation.
• Excellent Armenian, with knowledge of Russian and English.
• Understanding of business ethics and ability to apply them.
• High accuracy, responsibility, organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Quick problem‑solving, multitasking and adaptability to change.
• Attention to detail and effective teamwork.
