Video Editor for Paid Social Ads

About the role

Nysonian is seeking a Video Editor to create high‑performing paid‑social video ads for its global lifestyle brands. You will transform raw footage into compelling, performance‑driven creatives optimized for Meta, TikTok, YouTube and other platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Edit and produce video assets for social media, paid ads, websites and campaign initiatives.
• Convert long‑form content into short‑form formats such as TikTok, Reels and YouTube Shorts.
• Integrate motion graphics, captions, music and sound design to boost engagement.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters and strategists to align with brand and campaign goals.
• Analyze creative performance data and apply learnings to improve future ads.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Media, Film, Communications or related field (preferred).
• 2–4 years of video‑editing experience in fast‑paced environments such as agency, DTC or e‑commerce.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a high‑growth setting.
• Data‑driven mindset with a focus on storytelling and marketing outcomes (CTR, conversion, ROAS).

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro or equivalent.
• Experience with AI‑driven video tools (e.g., Runway ML).
• Motion graphics, basic animation and sound‑design capabilities.
• Strong understanding of content formats and performance dynamics on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Meta.
