Certification Manager

About the role

ASBIS is seeking a Certification Manager to lead its Certification team and ensure timely, compliant product certification across multiple markets. The role involves defining certification and testing requirements, coordinating with external bodies, and guiding internal teams on regulatory and labeling standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Certification team and coordinate all certification activities.
• Determine testing standards and required certificates for the product portfolio.
• Identify product marking and labeling requirements for target markets.
• Research reliable sources on certification and regulatory requirements.
• Engage consultants and certification experts as needed.
• Process requests for product conformity confirmation.
• Liaise with certification bodies, testing laboratories, and government authorities across the EU, Ukraine, CIS, Middle East, and China.
• Evaluate and select new service providers for certification and testing.
• Identify cost‑optimization opportunities related to certification.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date database of certificates.
• Provide expert guidance to internal teams on regulatory, certification, and labeling standards.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of professional experience in product certification or a related field.
• Good understanding of testing requirements and certification procedures for electronics and wireless electronics.
• Familiarity with TR RED, UA TR 355 and related legislation.
• Knowledge of product marking and labeling requirements in the EU, Ukraine and EAEU.
• Experience interacting with government bodies.
