Freelance Shopify Developer – Theme Migration & CRO

About the role

Gagat Glass, a premium Armenian‑founded design brand, is looking for a freelance Shopify developer to migrate its store to a premium theme and implement conversion‑rate‑optimization improvements. The work will be remote with a preference for candidates based in Yerevan.

Key responsibilities

• Migrate the current Dawn theme to Impact, Stretch, or a similar premium theme, covering header, mega‑menu, homepage, product pages, collection pages, and custom pages.
• Implement conversion fixes from a professional CRO audit, selecting items in scope together with the client.
• Integrate and test Klaviyo, Judge.me, Shopify Bundles, upsell/cross‑sell apps, Translate & Adapt, and Shopify Markets (multi‑currency).
• Provide complete Armenian translations for all new theme strings and proofread the store.
• Conduct full testing (checkout in each currency, forms, Klaviyo flows, mobile/desktop performance) and deliver written handover documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience with premium Shopify stores and prior Impact or similar theme builds.
• Fluent reading and writing in Eastern Armenian; ability to spot and correct translation issues.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Klaviyo and Judge.me integrations.
• Experience with ManyChat or other social/DM automation is a plus.
• Strong judgement to advise on audit items that may not suit the brand.
