National Consultant – Care Economy Landscape Analysis

About the role
UN Women is seeking a National Consultant to lead the review, validation and further development of a national landscape analysis of the care economy in Armenia. The consultant will work within the “Women’s Economic Empowerment in the South Caucasus” (WESEC) project, reporting to the WESEC Project Analyst and collaborating with UN Women staff.
Key responsibilities
- Assess the completeness, accuracy and internal consistency of existing analytical products (inception report, desk review summary, stakeholder mapping, policy and legal mapping, draft analysis, interview transcripts, etc.).
- Verify that findings are supported by underlying evidence and identify any gaps or issues requiring clarification.
- Consolidate and strengthen the evidence base, produce an updated comprehensive overview of care‑related data, policies, services, infrastructure and institutional arrangements at national, rural and urban levels.
- Identify needs and opportunities for strengthening Armenia’s care system and formulate gender‑responsive policy and programme recommendations.
