About the role
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Project Assistant to support the implementation of migration‑related projects in Armenia. Working under the Head of Office and the Project Coordinator, you will help ensure that project activities are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with IOM’s humanitarian objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of project activities.
- Retrieve, compile, summarize and present data on specific project topics.
- Monitor project budget, verify fund availability, obtain approvals and update budget information.
- Coordinate administrative actions with internal units and external partners, including requests, clearances and follow‑ups.
- Draft status reports, correspondence, briefing notes, graphics, statistical tables and presentations.
- Organise meetings, workshops and training sessions.
- Respond to information requests, maintain project files and records.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required profile
- School diploma with at least four years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree in political or social sciences, international relations, development studies, migration studies, human rights, law or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, reporting and documentation skills.
