Chief Financial Officer

About the role

The Chief Financial Officer will lead the strategic management of the bank's financial resources, ensuring liquidity, capital adequacy, and robust budgeting while driving investment activities and financial stability.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and execute capital raising strategies and manage relationships with international investors and financial institutions.
• Oversee the full financial reporting framework, ensuring data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and alignment with IFRS and Basel standards.
• Lead financial policy development, asset‑liability management, expense control, and long‑term financial planning.
• Coordinate tax processes, internal controls, and financial operations across the organization.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Applied Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
• 8‑10 years of experience in banking, investment, insurance, auditing or consulting, with at least 5 years in a managerial position.
• Mandatory CFA charterholder or FCCA/ACCA membership; preferred FRM or EFPA certifications.
• Excellent English communication (C1 level) and proven leadership, strategic planning, and crisis management abilities.
