Financial Specialist

About the role

The Financial Specialist supports the CFO in delivering accurate group reporting, consolidation, tax compliance and treasury management. The role combines management accounting, treasury operations, reporting support and intra‑group consolidation within a fast‑growing fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare regular budgets and management reports in line with internal standards.
• Maintain accurate, reconciled financial data across group entities and ensure IFRS compliance.
• Process payment orders, monitor cash and wallet balances, and plan liquidity.
• Settle invoices and service subscriptions timely and manage inter‑company fund movements.
• Support auditors and banks with bookkeeping data, month‑/year‑end closing and audit documentation.
• Assist the CFO with due‑diligence documents, bank, EMI and exchange account openings.
• Automate finance processes (ERP/BI, payments, reconciliations) to reduce manual effort.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CFA, etc.) completed or in progress is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with hands‑on payment processing and cash‑management.
• Practical knowledge of IFRS and exposure to annual audits (Big Four experience is a plus).
• Experience with multi‑entity or international groups, inter‑company reconciliations and consolidation support.
• Strong analytical, detail‑oriented and organizational skills; ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, international environment.

Required skills

• IFRS accounting standards
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, financial models)
• ERP or accounting systems (NetSuite, Xero, QuickBooks, SAP, Odoo, 1C)
• BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Metabase)
• Online banking, EMI platforms and payment workflow knowledge
• Familiarity with wallets, networks and exchange accounting treatment
