Art Production Assistant

About the role

GORTSARAN Projects is seeking a full‑time Art Production Assistant to join its vibrant studio in Yerevan. You will work hands‑on with polymer clay, turning creative concepts into decorative items, character figures, jewelry, and custom gifts that reflect the brand’s aesthetic.

Key responsibilities

• Condition, sculpt, texture, and color‑blend polymer clay according to client briefs and brand guidelines.
• Shape, detail, bake, and finish artworks while ensuring durability and consistent quality.
• Maintain a tidy workstation and safely operate ovens and sculpting tools.
• Collaborate with the studio team to prepare materials and set up spaces for workshops and events.
• Occasionally demonstrate techniques to workshop participants and assist with event logistics.

Required profile

• Proven polymer‑clay skills, including conditioning, sculpting, texturing, color blending, and finishing.
• Strong artistic ability in drawing, composition, and design with an eye for detail.
• Experience handling studio equipment safely (tools, ovens, material storage).
• Ability to follow creative briefs, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills; portfolio of previous work strongly preferred.
