Bid Manager / Proposal Writer

About the role

Avenue Consulting Group is seeking a hands‑on Bid Manager / Proposal Writer to lead the development of high‑quality bids, expressions of interest and technical proposals for both local and international consulting assignments. The role combines analytical rigor with strong writing skills to turn complex project requirements into clear, compelling submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the full proposal lifecycle from opportunity review to final submission.
• Analyse Terms of Reference/RFPs and create proposal structures, compliance matrices and action plans.
• Draft, edit and consolidate EOIs, technical proposals, methodologies, references and expert CVs.
• Gather inputs from management, subject‑matter experts, partners and consultants.
• Ensure compliance, consistency, quality and timely delivery of all bid documents.
• Maintain and update proposal templates, reference libraries and bid‑related knowledge resources.

Required profile

• Higher education in economics, business, management, public administration, international development, law or a related field.
• Relevant experience in proposal development, consulting, business development, project coordination or procurement.
• Excellent professional English writing skills and strong command of Armenian.
• Strong analytical, organisational and coordination abilities.
• Ability to structure complex information clearly and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Confidence using modern digital productivity, collaboration, document‑management and AI‑assisted tools.
• Experience with consulting firms, international financial institutions, donor‑funded projects or public procurement is a plus.
