Business Development Manager – Armenia

About the role

SIMTEC Steel Engineering and Contracting is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives in Armenia. Based in Yerevan, the manager will focus on expanding the company’s presence in the steel and stainless‑steel manufacturing and contracting markets, targeting both local and regional customers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the steel, construction and engineering sectors.
• Prospect, engage and nurture relationships with potential and existing clients.
• Conduct market and competitor analyses to inform strategic decisions.
• Prepare customized proposals, commercial offers and quotations.
• Collaborate with engineering, production and project teams to align solutions with client requirements.
• Manage the sales pipeline, forecast revenue and report performance to senior management.
• Represent SIMTEC at industry events, trade fairs and client meetings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, sales or account management within B2B industrial environments.
• Background in steel, construction, engineering or related sectors with an understanding of technical products.
• Strong analytical abilities for market research and competitive analysis.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Fluent in Armenian and proficient in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Yerevan and travel to client locations.
