About the role
UTony is building a behavioral security system for financial organizations to detect account takeover attacks and suspicious logins. The company seeks a Founding ML Engineer to own the machine‑learning direction, from data exploration to production deployment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop behavioral ML models for classification and anomaly detection.
- Engineer features from raw behavioral and temporal signals.
- Run experiments, evaluate models, and set detection thresholds.
- Prevent data leakage, investigate robustness, and handle failure cases.
- Deploy models to low‑latency, real‑time inference pipelines.
- Monitor model performance in production and iterate continuously.
- Shape the overall ML architecture and technical roadmap.
Required profile
- 3+ years of hands‑on machine‑learning experience (2+ years in production is acceptable).
- Proven ability to take a semi‑structured problem from data exploration to deployed solution.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and autonomy.
