Google Cloud Delivery Architect

About the role

The Google Cloud Delivery team is looking for a senior architect to lead end‑to‑end delivery of fixed‑budget cloud engagements. You will own the execution of migrations, cloud foundations, and Kubernetes platforms while interfacing directly with customers on a weekly basis.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute AWS/Azure to GCP migrations, managing production cut‑overs for services such as EKS→GKE, RDS→Cloud SQL, and S3→Cloud Storage.
• Design and implement Cloud Foundations (Landing Zones) including resource hierarchy, IAM, organization policies, network topology, and security controls, all codified in Terraform.
• Architect, deploy, and operate GKE clusters with private networking, Workload Identity, Helm add‑ons, ingress, and Cloud Armor.
• Enable DevOps and IaC by importing hand‑built environments into reusable Terraform modules, setting up GitHub Actions with keyless authentication, and implementing GitOps using Argo CD.
• Own customer engagement: run weekly meetings, track scope and budget, manage change requests, and deliver comprehensive handover documentation and runbooks.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with 5+ years of hands‑on cloud infrastructure experience.
• Deep production experience on Google Cloud Platform; must be able to design and operate large‑scale GCP environments without a learning curve.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent engagements and communicate effectively in English with technical and executive stakeholders.

Required skills

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) – architecture, networking, security, IAM.
• Terraform – modular code, remote state, environment import.
• Kubernetes / GKE – private clusters, node pools, autoscaling, RBAC, Workload Identity, Helm, ingress.
• Networking & security – VPC, Cloud NAT, DNS, VPN, Private Service Connect, firewall policies, Secret Manager.
• CI/CD – GitHub Actions (or equivalent) with keyless GCP auth, container pipelines, Argo CD (or similar GitOps).
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure environments for migration source analysis.
• Daily use of AI tools with critical judgment.
