Middle Agile Project Manager

About the role

Sportserve is looking for a Middle Agile Project Manager to drive the adoption and evolution of agile practices across its global software and data‑engineering teams. You will act as a catalyst for continuous improvement, helping squads deliver high‑quality products while staying responsive to changing business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum/Kanban ceremonies, ensuring they are productive and time‑boxed.
• Guide product owners in defining clear product goals and maintaining a well‑structured backlog.
• Track team capacity, assist in sprint planning, and forecast delivery timelines.
• Remove impediments that hinder team progress and promote a self‑organising culture.
• Validate incoming project requests, gather missing information, and communicate status, risks, and challenges to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product and technology leaders to identify recurring impediments and drive improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Agile Delivery Lead, Scrum Master, or Agile Project Manager in an IT environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles, Scrum and Kanban frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills, proactive attitude, and persistence to achieve results.
• Willingness to take on unconventional responsibilities when project priorities shift.
