Python Software Engineer – Product Engineering

About the role

Corsearch is looking for a Python Software Engineer to join its Product & Engineering team. You will help build and scale a market‑leading SaaS platform that uses AI to detect and combat online counterfeiting, piracy, trademark infringement, and brand abuse.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy end‑to‑end features for the core brand‑protection platform based on customer and operator feedback.
• Refactor existing code for performance, optimize complex PostgreSQL queries, and tune indexes.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to embed automated content moderation, image‑matching, and rule‑based decision engines into client‑facing applications.
• Maintain high code quality through unit testing, code reviews, containerised development environments, and robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Work closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, and QA engineers to translate business logic into clean technical solutions.

Required profile

• Strong, hands‑on experience with Python, including async frameworks and REST API development.
• Solid background in relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, with experience in index tuning and complex SQL query optimization.
• Proven ability to work in cross‑functional, globally distributed teams.
