Senior Automation QA Engineer (SDET)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation QA Engineer (SDET) to design, build, and maintain scalable test automation solutions for our web and API platforms. You will work within a fast‑moving fintech environment, ensuring high product quality and reliability across our CI/CD pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation frameworks for web applications using Playwright and Mocha.
• Build comprehensive UI test suites and execute functional, regression, smoke, and end‑to‑end tests.
• Design and implement API automation tests for RESTful services.
• Run cross‑browser testing via BrowserStack and integrate reporting with Allure Reports.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and enforce quality gates.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA peers throughout the SDLC.
• Perform exploratory testing, manage defect lifecycle, and maintain test documentation.
• Validate data and write SQL queries for verification purposes.

Required profile

• Strong experience in QA Automation / SDET roles.
• Hands‑on expertise with Playwright, Mocha, BrowserStack, and Allure Reports.
• Good knowledge of BDD/TDD principles and test automation architecture.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions) and Git workflows.
• Solid experience in API testing and SQL.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum practices.
• Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
