Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a senior full‑stack software engineer to stabilize, develop and scale a physician‑led healthcare platform that supports patients with sickle‑cell disease and other underserved populations. The role balances product engineering (patient‑facing UI/UX, workflows and APIs) with backend, cloud and integration work (AWS, data interoperability, DevOps and security).

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain patient‑facing web applications using React, TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Build and evolve backend services and APIs with Node.js, Python and PostgreSQL.
• Implement and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, including containers, serverless services and monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, PHI) and integrate standards such as FHIR, HL7 and payer systems.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines, automate testing and support production deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the full stack, from UI to database and cloud services.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software‑engineering experience.
• Strong front‑end expertise with React, TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Solid backend experience with Node.js, TypeScript or Python.
• Proficiency in REST APIs, SQL and PostgreSQL.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services and Docker/container technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD, production support and security best practices.
• Ability to own features end‑to‑end, from UI through cloud monitoring.
