Senior Fullstack Engineer (Android/Backend)

About the role

Tabby is a fast‑growing fintech unicorn that enables shoppers to split payments with no interest or fees. We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to help scale the systems behind our core products and deliver high‑impact features in a remote, high‑growth environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android components using Kotlin and modern architectural patterns.
• Collaborate with a distributed engineering team across 20+ countries to deliver end‑to‑end features.
• Contribute to backend services and ensure seamless integration between Android and server‑side APIs.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of the mobile codebase.

Required profile

• Excellent knowledge of Kotlin and Coroutines.
• Strong experience with Jetpack Compose and MVVM/MVI architectures.
• Experience with Dagger, Yatagan or manual dependency injection.
• Solid understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, and collection handling.
• Basic understanding of garbage‑collection mechanisms.
• Fluent English communication skills and a “getting things done” mindset.
