Senior Network Engineer – Global Infrastructure

About the role

This senior‑level position joins the Global Infrastructure and Network team to design, implement, troubleshoot and continuously improve worldwide network services across enterprise, cloud and manufacturing environments. The role works closely with Cloud, Security and Infrastructure teams to build secure, reliable and scalable networking while driving automation and platform‑driven operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain global LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi and cloud connectivity ensuring high availability and performance.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, packet captures and root‑cause analysis to reduce MTTR for multi‑domain incidents.
• Configure and operate Zero Trust network architecture, including identity‑based segmentation, NAC policies and firewall rule management.
• Build and support hybrid cloud networking on Azure and AWS (BGP, OSPF, VNet/VPC peering, private endpoints, DNS).
• Design, tune and manage SD‑WAN, VPN and private interconnect solutions for resilient low‑latency connectivity.
• Develop automation scripts and API‑driven tooling using Python, Ansible and Terraform to streamline provisioning and configuration.
• Implement observability instrumentation (metrics, logs, traces) and follow ITIL‑aligned incident, problem and change management processes.
• Apply analytics and AIOps to detect degradation trends and implement systemic fixes.
• Conduct capacity planning, performance optimisation and resilience testing.
• Serve as hands‑on SME for cloud migration, mentor junior engineers and produce detailed network diagrams and run‑books.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Several years of senior‑level network engineering experience in enterprise and cloud environments.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with Cloud, Security and Infrastructure teams.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on automation and continuous improvement.
