Senior Python Developer – Platform Engineering

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join the BuyerLink platform team. You will own critical services that match consumer intent with business partners across automotive, home services, HVAC, and insurance markets.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate high‑traffic Python services and APIs with a focus on performance, reliability, and security.
• Own end‑to‑end data pipelines: ingestion, transformation, validation, and monitoring.
• Make and defend architecture decisions, shaping the system’s future.
• Integrate AI‑assisted features using LLM APIs, retrieval, and structured extraction.
• Conduct rigorous code reviews and raise coding standards across the team.
• Diagnose and resolve production incidents quickly, documenting root causes.
• Mentor mid‑level engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Collaborate daily with the Ukraine‑based Python team and cross‑functional product, data, and operations partners.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to make decisions independently.
• Excellent written communication skills for asynchronous collaboration across time zones.
• Proven experience delivering production‑grade services and data pipelines.
