Accounting and Reporting Specialist

About the role

SoftConstruct is looking for an Accounting and Reporting Specialist to coordinate accounting functions, prepare financial analyses and support budgeting and audit activities. The role combines day‑to‑day accounting operations with strategic reporting and tax preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate accounting functions and programs.
• Prepare financial analyses, reports, revenue projections and expenditure forecasts.
• Assist with budget preparation, monitoring and variance analysis.
• Maintain and reconcile balance‑sheet and general‑ledger accounts.
• Support annual audit preparations and investigate audit findings.
• Prepare federal, state, local and special tax returns.
• Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs and procedures.
• Provide other accounting duties and support junior staff as required.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in accounting or finance.
• At least 2 years of accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of tax laws and accounting standards.
• Fluency in English, Russian and Armenian.
• Strong financial analysis, communication and organizational skills.

• Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
